This week we are reading a turkey poem. We are learning about the Pilgrims in Social Studies so I thought a turkey poem would be fun.
I introduced the poem in class today and the kids loved it. They loved the rhyming words throughout the poem. Tonight the children will do the homework poem sheet.
I also read the book, The Great Turkey Race. My class laughed so much throughout this story. I made a quick story sequence sheet for it. It was a nice activity for daily 5.
