I
have not been the best blogger this year.
However I feel I have one month to redeem myself. Last week in Social Studies we were learning
about our neighborhood and community.
We
created a large map of our neighborhood.
As you can tell from the map, most of the children in my class live in
walking distance of the school. I do
have a couple of students that ride to school in a car because they live a few
miles away. That is why our map is
spread out.
My favorite part of the map is the liquor store. The kids informed me you can buy pretzels and candy there and sometimes beer and root beer for the football games.
