Happy Thanksgiving
Last week in my first grade class we were very busy creating cards. We to created two Thanksgiving cards for the church bulletin. It was a fun and easy card. The kids drew a tree, turkeys and pumpkins and then we added leaves with a q-tip and paint.
Then as part of our service project we created two cards to send to the elderly in our church community. On the first day of the project we glued tissue paper onto a small paper plate.
Then the next day we cut the plate in half and assembled our turkeys. Suggestion if you decide to do this project, the eyes I picked for the turkeys is too small. They would look cuter with bigger eyes.
